Maintain your belt storage start with a 2/2 mix of healing and mana, and if you feel you need more of one or the other, go 3/1 in the necessary direction. Typically, the belt will auto-load as you pick up potions if you have an empty hotkey slot, the potion goes in it, and if you have empty slots above the hotkey slots, potions of the same type (not necessarily the same size) will auto-load into them. Anything that isn't a Sash or Light Belt will have 12 potion slots (3 per hotkey) and Plated Belts (and all Exceptional/Elite Belts) give you 16. However, there are many tricks that new players don't know about:īig belt. You can't increase the size of your inventory or chest. You'll just have to learn to live with leaving some items on the ground. You can use this in a multiplayer game to ninja an important item even if your inventory is full.Įven with these minor space savers, you still won't be able to pick up everything. If you quit the game while this item is replacing your cursor, the next game you join will still have that item available to you. This works best with weapons, since you can swap to the unused weapon set, equip the item, then swap back to the weapon you actually want to use.Īnother trick is that you can open your inventory and pick up an item off the ground even if your inventory is full. You can also equip items you're not using. Try carrying the Horadric Cube with you, which has a 3x4 area inside it but only takes up a 2x2 area in your inventory. There are a few tricks you can do, however, to take creative advantage of some game mechanics. Without third party mods, there is no way to increase the size of your inventory or your stash. Certainly beats character mules in my opinion though.No. You won’t lose items but you’ll have to wait for Silospen to update it then you’d have to manually transfer items between GoMule versions which is a major pain if you have lots of items. I’d suggest GoMule, it’s not as convenient as PlugY since you have to fully close out D2R to use it and occasionally updates will cause the compatibility to break. The file size limit should’ve been increased ages ago, lots of people have lost items to it. Shared stash tabs also have this limit but it’s on a per-tab basis so it’s not as problematic. There’s also a hardcoded 8 KB save file limit that applies to your character and personal stash, if you pass this limit then items will be randomly deleted until you’re below the limit. There’s a couple mods out there that increase the stash/cube/inventory size and increase the amount of shared stash tabs to 7 total, but that’s all that can be done with softcode mods unless if there’s any new developments which is unlikely. PlugY is unfortunately not possible in D2R because it requires hardcode modding (.dll edits), D2R only allows softcode mods. Obviously, we didn’t have this issue in D2 Legacy.īut for anyone interested I could help you with it. Currently, this is a pain to do every time such a patch is released but there’s no other way around it. Silospen always provides us a new version when needed but you need to go through a procedure to move these items to your characters, open them in the game so they are converted to the new version. There’s a D2R Gomule version as well BUT I need to warn you that some D2R patches break the compatibility with Gomule. Without using mods for extra space I was able to move my D2 legacy characters to D2R! It doesn’t modify the game by any means and doesn’t offer any modifications to your characters so you can stay legit as an offline player. You download it, you open it and it works. Gomule doesn’t need any installation, it just needs java to work. If you have a stash with 350 rare rings you can just filter it to show only rings with 10% FCR that you have stored. There’s a filter option which helps you finding exactly what you want. It basically has an infinitive storage and you can create “stashes” to keep items separate. I’ve been an offline player for years and Gomule was exactly what you would need.
